Non-Woven Fabric

non-woven-fabric

ADIYA Nonwovens are unique, high-tech, engineered fabrics made from fibers, that are used across a wide range of applications and products. Our spunbond/spunmelt nonwoven fabrics are mainly used for Face Mask, Medical gown and Wipes.

ADIYA offers a reliable source of both polypropylene and polyethylene nonwoven fabrics to support Face Mask production in North America.

Our continuous innovation and undisputed commitment to high quality enables us to deliver precisely designed fabrics at very competitive prices.

Nonwovens with Isotropic Properties, MD/CD ratios approaching 1:1, Producing high Mullen burst strength and tear resistance, great for filtration and Face Mask.

PP Spunbond Fabric (Outer & Inner Layers)

We offer a wide range of soft spunbond and SMS products that are designed to feel silky or cottony. These specialty nonwovens can be combined with designer bond patterns to differentiate from competition. Hydrophilic and hydrophobic nonwovens are available in basis weight from 08 – 150 gsm.

We have a wide selection of spunbond and SMS materials for Face Mask and Medical Gown. These materials have been rigorously optimized for function, look & feel, and for cost. These functionalized nonwovens are available as low as basis weights of 8gsm. And, with our collective expertise, we can engineer and design the best nonwoven for the intended task.

Melt Blown Fabric for Filter Layer (3ply, FFP2, FFP3, N95, KN95)

The quality of meltblown material is essential for medical protective equipment, so it is important that the material, which filters bacteria and viruses in respirators for example, works without exception.

Produce meltblown nonwovens made of the finest filaments for reliable filter applications such as protective face masks.

Meltblown nonwovens are on average only 1 µm thick and endless in length. By way of comparison, a cotton fiber is 12-35 µm thick and 15-56 mm long. Or even simpler: meltblown fibers are up to seventy times thinner than a human hair.

ADIYA MB filtration media for medical and surgical facemasks and N95 respirator masks uses a polypropylene construction to provide high filtration efficiency while minimizing airflow resistance. This material is available in white and has been flat-sheet tested to meet an equivalent rating* of NIOSH Efficiency Level N95 per TSI 8130.

ADIYA MB Filtration Media for Medical and Surgical Facemasks is engineered for consistent processing in stitched or ultrasonically sealed masks and serves as the filtration efficiency layer in a multi-layer mask design. This material is available in white and has been flat-sheet tested to meet an equivalent rating* of Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE) 98 and 95 per ASTM F2101 and EN 14683 at a media face velocity of 12 cm/s. MB 1049HW is available as a standalone meltblown layer.

ADIYA MB filtration media for medical and surgical facemasks and N95 respirator masks uses a polypropylene construction to provide high filtration efficiency while minimizing airflow resistance.

With filters in a mask it is the same – there are such and such. But what makes a good filter? This includes, for example, that as many particles (e.g. viruses) as possible remain trapped in the filter and that breathing through this filter is easy. And that’s exactly what we need Meltblown for!

How does the meltblown actually work? First and foremost, meltblown fibers act as filters. You could say that they work like bouncers: They only let through the one that is wanted. In our case, viruses are supposed to stop at the door. The smaller the size of the particles to be filtered, the more difficult this becomes.
